Wednesday 1 June 2016

Hello my friends

Sorry its been awhile since last posted, but i've so busy with wedding stuff and on holiday too.lolI will try and post more again soon.

please forgive my craft room mess above
(need to tidy and get a bigger one)

this is a baby card made with TATTERED lace dies, they make the card so easy, honest just a little inking and sticking.

some wedding favours with die tags ...lots an lots.. of cutting!!

This was an old frame i had and used chalk paint and lots of distressing and sanding back with a high light using gold oil bar and some crackle glaze used as well.

Then i used modge podge and layed down paper (pattern side down) into modge podge and left to dry, when dry damp with cloth lightly rub away backing of paper and you're left with an aged effect.Hope you like it

The Journal or 'spell book' lol that i made for Tattered lace CHA show

I used Tattered lace 'Fantasy dies the 'Owl and Castle'
these are lovely dies and large, i have used lots of ink around the edges of dies .
The main body of the book is an a4 page folded in half and lots of layers added with distress ink and i tore down bits and curled the edges to age it more.

i inked two colours over the page and added a little glitter to the stars, feather and flowers etc at the bottom, i also used the pages embossed with some papers i had.

the spine of the book is a piece of card folded like a concertina and double sided tape inside each fold for added strength. then i added the pages.
Each page i used fancy die cuts for the edges, and of course lots of inking and distressing going on, just love Tim Holtz inks.

Left lots of space to add photos and journal..
and tied lots of ribbon and embellishments on the side.

Hope you enjoyed this and it was of some help, it was easier than it looks to do, please leave me a note id be happy to help..
